Bush on Edwards
Seriously, how can Bush, with any semblance of a straight face, criticize John Edwards for his "lack" of political experience when Bush himself had only 6 years of experience as a governor (0 years on the national level hence 0 years foreign policy experience) when he ran for President? And how can the media let this go by without even posing the question to Bush? Oh, wait, it's the "liberal" media, that's why.
And when Bush says, "I'm going to carry the South because the people understand that they share — we share values," is he referring to racist religious fundamentalism? Or is he referring to misleading the American public to fight a war that has no plan and has 800+ of our soldiers, wounded thousands, and killed thousands of innocent Iraqis? Or perhaps he means they, like he and his administration, are the elite wealthy who, unlike the working middle class, are reaping the benefits of his tax cuts that have plunged us into insurmountable debt and paltry economic recovery? Or perhaps they are for treating people like dogs as was done at Abu Ghraib prison? All of this is unclear to me....
