Make the moderates pay

The moderate/liberal Republicans need to be the ones who pay for last week. The Democratic party needs to put them on notice--this is war and you're either on our side or theirs.

You're a pro-choice, pro-gay rights, pro-stem cell research Republican? Switch parties or we'll fund the campaign of an extremist Republican in your next election. No toeing the line. If you're really on the liberal side of these issues, then you need to be on the side where they won't be threatened. If more extremists win Congressional seats, then so be it. Eventually, they'll go too far and their voters will bounce them out. But the time for the moderates riding the successes of Republican victories while still being able to call themselves socially liberal should be gone.
