More on the Dick
I'm hoping that John Edwards is Kerry's VP pick (please don't let it be Dick Gephardt, please, please, please), for many reasons, including debates with Dick Cheney.
Edwards, a lawyer, will most likely be assailed by this asshole with some "trial lawyers are destroying America," Rush Limbaugh-inspired tirade. I would just love to see Edwards ram this down his throat by saying, you don't have a problem with trial lawyers when they're trying to bail your sorry ass out (once again, see the "The untouchable Dick" post below). It won't happen (the ramming it down his throat--Edwards has a great chance at VP though), but it's fun to think about it.
Even though they spout off at the mouth about it, conservatives aren't against trial lawyers. They're only against trial lawyers when you or me are trying to get some sort of restitution from a corporation who has given us an elephant-sized screw. When they're trying to defend themselves against criminal charges or from revealing their secretive plans, they're all for them.
